Former President Donald Trump beat former Governor Nikki Haley in the South Carolina GOP Primary, taking nearly 60% of the vote to Haley’s 40%.

Trump has won every GOP primary and caucus thus far, and he is on track to clinch the GOP nomination if this trend continues.

Trump beat Haley in her home state of South Carolina, where she served as the state’s governor from 2011 to 2017.

Haley has pledged to stay in the race regardless of the results in South Carolina, most notably at her “State of the Race” speech held before the primary in Greenville, where many political operatives expected Haley to drop out of the race.

At her watch party Saturday night in Charleston, Haley reiterated that she is not going anywhere.

“I said earlier this week that no matter what happens in South Carolina, I would continue to run for president,” said Haley. “I’m a woman of my word.”

Haley added that she has no fear of Trump and that she would press forward to future primary contests.

“I have no fear of Trump’s retribution,” said Haley. “I’m not looking for anything from him.”
