Chappell Roan cancels festival appearances this weekend

Chappell Roan this weekend has canceled her festival appearances saying, “I need a few days to prioritize my health.”

On her Instagram story on Friday, she said that she was “unable to perform” at the All Things Go festival in New York City and Washington, DC, needing to take time for her health.

“I feel pressure to prioritize a lot of things right now,” said Roan. “I want to be present when I perform and give the best shows possible. Thank you for understanding.”

Over the past month, Roan has made headlines with her views on the US presidential election, saying that there are issues with both candidates. Yet, she plans to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.

After criticism of her views, she reported fans who had stalked her and her family and demanded photos or hugs in public.

“I don’t care that abuse and harassment, stalking… is a normal thing to do to people who are famous,” said Roan.

Today is All Things Go’s last day of performance featuring Janelle Monae and Renee Rap.
