The hunt is on for someone to capture the escaped Scottish bull who has been roaming Connecticut for over a month.
The Scottish bull, more formally known as “Highland Cattle,” is a species native to the United Kingdom, specifically Scotland. However, one of these bulls has escaped and found its way to the Connecticut suburbs, sparking a hunt to get it back to its owner.
Various sightings have been reported since its first escape over a month ago; however, the bull has not yet been captured. According to the Associated Press, the last known sighting of this bull was in New Milford, Connecticut, on Tuesday.
Jo Ann Joray, the bull’s owner, claimed in an interview with the Associated Press that there has been an ongoing search for the bull, with no close captures yet. Due to its thick fur coat, the bull species is known for lasting long periods of time in the cold.
Due to its international species and manhunt, the Scottish bull is quickly becoming a local celebrity for areas of Connecticut.
