White House border czar Tom Homan yesterday threatened Boston over its sanctuary city policy, according to NBC News

In the comment, Homan also criticized Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox on “the administration’s goals for enforcing immigration,” according to NBC News.

Mayor Michelle Wu is set to testify before a U.S. House committee in the next month on the city of Boston’s sanctuary policy. Wu is one of many mayors of different cities testifying, including New York, Chicago, and Denver.

Wu has said that the policy is what makes Boston a safe city in this nation even with the Trump administration placing blame on undocumented immigrants for the country’s crime.

The U.S. House committee meeting is set for March 5.
