Stabbing on Newbury Street leaves one woman injured

A woman was stabbed Sunday night in the Back Bay neighborhood.
The incident happened at the intersection between Newbury and Gloucester Street around 9:45 pm.
The woman was taken to the local hospital with non-lethal injuries. The Boston Police Department reported that the woman was stabbed in the abdomen. It’s indefinite if the woman is still in the hospital or not.
The investigation is ongoing, as the suspect fled from the scene, said the police.
