The Associated Press sued three Trump administration officials yesterday. The dispute is over access to presidential events where the AP asked a federal judge to stop blocking the AP’s journalists.
The lawsuit was filed yesterday in the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., just 10 days after the White House started restricting the AP’s access.
The Associated Press is saying that this case is about “an unconstitutional effort by the White House to control speech – in this case not changing its style from the Gulf of Mexico to the ‘Gulf of America,’” according to Boston.com.
The first date of the lawsuit in court has not been released.
